Is participation compulsory?
No. Participation is voluntary. You may withdraw at any time without prejudice.
Is there a cash reward?
No, depending on your level of participation, participants may choose to obtain a summary report of their child's performance in assessment, or enter our lucky draw for shopping vouchers. Children who go through the assessment will be given a small token of appreciation for their time.
What about my personal information?
Your personal information will be kept confidential. Prior to commencing the study, we have gotten approval from the NTU Ethics Committee for our data confidentiality protocol. If you wish to talk to an independent person about your concerns, questions can also be directed to NTU Institutional Review Board (IRB) / Ethics Committee at 6592 2495 or email irb@ntu.edu.sg.

What if my child doesn't cooperate during the assessment?
Our team of researchers are equipped with skills for working with children and behavior management without compromising the data collected. In the event that the assessment is not completed in the first session, we will try to arrange a second session. However, if the child refuses to complete the assessment, we will generate a report on only the sections
