Child Development

Do you know that when your child or student is assessed using a standardized assessment tool developed in another country, your child is compared to children from that country, instead of his or her peers in Singapore?

Due to the variety of exposures that different countries offer, children around the world may not develop in exactly the same way. Therefore, there is a need to provide children in Singapore an assessment tool that is standardized according to how children who grow up Singapore, develop. Having this tool means having a more accurate picture of your child's development when compared to his or her peers in Singapore. This process of standardizing the assessment tool is called norming. And this is what we are doing at FACES!

If you have a child or teach children aged 18 months to 6 years-11 months,
we want you! Check out our parents' page, or our educators' page for more information!
